Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the LexaTranslate platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable additional terms for specific features or services.

These Terms apply to all users of LexaTranslate, regardless of subscription tier, including Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise users. If you are using LexaTranslate on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the LexaTranslate platform. Your continued use of the platform following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

LexaTranslate provides an AI-powered cultural translation platform designed to deliver contextually aware, culturally sensitive translations across multiple languages. Our service is distinguished by its deep integration of cultural intelligence into the translation process.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, including the availability of specific agents, strategies, languages, or features, with reasonable notice to paid subscribers.

To access certain features of LexaTranslate, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be in violation of these Terms, involved in fraudulent activity, or inactive for an extended period (12 months or more for free accounts).

LexaTranslate offers the following subscription plans. Usage is subject to the limits of your selected plan:

All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

You are free to use, distribute, publish, modify, and commercialize your translations without any obligation to LexaTranslate. We impose no restrictions on how you use the translated content.

The LexaTranslate platform itself — including our website design, user interface, brand identity, agent architectures, translation models, and underlying technology — is the intellectual property of Arabian AI and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and patent laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the LexaTranslate platform without our express written permission.

You agree to use LexaTranslate responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund. We reserve the right to report illegal activities to the appropriate authorities.

AI translations are not certified translations and should not be used as a substitute for professional human translation in the following contexts:

• Legal proceedings — Court filings, contracts, legal opinions, and regulatory submissions require certification by a sworn translator recognized by the relevant jurisdiction
• Medical documents — Patient records, pharmaceutical documentation, and medical device instructions should be verified by qualified medical translators
• Financial filings — Regulatory financial reports, audit documents, and investment disclosures may require certified translation
• Government submissions — Immigration documents, official certificates, and government correspondence often require sworn translation

For official judicial or regulatory use, we strongly recommend final review and certification by a qualified human translator. LexaTranslate's Legal strategy provides professional-grade terminology mapping and jurisdiction detection, but it is not a replacement for certified sworn translation.

LexaTranslate is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• LexaTranslate and Arabian AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service
• We are not liable for any losses resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or culturally inappropriate translations, including but not limited to financial losses, legal consequences, reputational harm, or business interruption
• We are not liable for any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or transmissions
• We are not liable for any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to LexaTranslate in the 12 months preceding the claim

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LexaTranslate, Arabian AI, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees), and liabilities arising from or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use the LexaTranslate service
• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
• Content you submit for translation that infringes on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
• Your violation of the Acceptable Use Policy (Section 6)
• Any misrepresentation or breach of warranty made by you

LexaTranslate reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and in such case, you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim. The indemnification obligations under this section shall survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the service.

Upon termination for any reason, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 5 (Intellectual Property Rights), 7 (AI Translation Disclaimer), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing Law).

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Before initiating formal proceedings in the DIFC Courts, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at legal@lexatranslate.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation within 60 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may proceed with formal proceedings in the DIFC Courts.

LexaTranslate reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Provide at least 30 days' advance notice before the changes take effect
• Notify you via email to the address associated with your account
• Display a prominent notice on our website and within the application
• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document

Your continued use of the LexaTranslate platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the service and may request account deletion before the changes take effect.

For changes that are beneficial or non-material (such as clarifications, formatting updates, or corrections of typographical errors), we may update these Terms without advance notice, though we will always update the "Last updated" date.
