We collect information you provide directly to LexaTranslate, including text you submit for translation, your account information (name, email), and usage data. When you upload documents for translation, the content is processed solely for the purpose of providing the translation service.

We also collect certain technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction patterns with our service. This data helps us improve performance, security, and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and improve our translation services, process payments, communicate with you about your account, and ensure the security and integrity of our platform. We do not sell your personal information or translation content to third parties.

Text translations are not stored on our servers unless you choose to save them to your translation history. Book Mode keeps your manuscript and its translation only while your book is being translated, then deletes them automatically 24 hours after emailing you the results. You can request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), and access controls. Enterprise customers can request custom data handling terms.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and export your personal data. You can delete your translation history at any time through the dashboard. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

By accessing or using LexaTranslate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all users, including free, starter, pro, and enterprise tier subscribers.

2. Service Description

LexaTranslate provides AI-powered translation services through specialized cultural translation agents. Our service supports multiple languages and translation strategies including literal, cultural, poetic, and legal translation modes.

While we strive for the highest quality translations, AI-generated translations may not always be perfect. For official legal, medical, or other critical documents, we recommend professional human review as a final verification step.

3. Usage Limits & Pricing

Usage is subject to the limits of your selected plan: Free ($0/month — 20 translations, 5,000 words, all 15 agents), Starter ($5/month — 20 translations, 10,000 words, all 15 agents), Pro ($15/month — unlimited translations, 100,000 words), and Enterprise ($49/month — 1,000,000 words; API access coming soon). All prices in USD. We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you submit for translation. The translations produced are yours to use as you see fit. LexaTranslate does not claim ownership of your input or output content.

5. Limitation of Liability

LexaTranslate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our translations, including but not limited to losses from inaccurate legal, medical, or financial translations. Users are responsible for verifying translations for critical use cases.
